Oscars Prediction 2020

The Swift Films Oscars prediction has become an annual event.

In 2017, we were spectacularly wrong in predicting that La La Land was going to win the most Oscars of all time. It didn’t even win Best Picture (although for a brief moment it appeared like it had)…

This year, we’re feeling more confident with our 2020 predictions, but I wouldn’t place money based on these predictions…

1917 will be the big winner on the night with six Oscars including Best Picture and Best Director.

About the Author

Richard Nicholls - Managing Director

Before launching Swift Films, Richard worked as a broadcast TV director and editor, working on programmes for the BBC, ITV and Sky.

A multi-skilled and technically-minded filmmaker, Richard is equally at home coming up with creative concepts as he is on location filming or pulling footage together in the edit suite.

Richard is a member of Independent Producers Scotland and has a love of cats, football, chocolate and Film Noir (in that order).
