Aerial filming services coming soon

By - Richard - 4th January 2016

Happy new year from everyone at Swift Films! After months of research, we have finally taken the plunge and purchased the DJI Inspire 1 Pro for aerial filming. This remarkable quadcopter uses a new 4K camera to offer breathtaking visuals from an incredibly steady and smooth unmanned aerial vehicle.

We are currently getting to grips with this very impressive device and will be able to offer aerial filming services to our clients very soon. Whilst the process of actually flying the quadcopter is quite straightforward, there is now strict legislation in place for flying drones. And rightly so! Companies wishing to provide aerial filming services for commercial purposes must now obtain a permit from the Civil Aviation Authority. This involves passing a written examination and a practical flight assessment. Our four days of training and exams are booked in for the end of January 2016. Updates coming soon!
