Extinct

Swift Films’ Producer / Director Richard Nicholls has just finished making the launch programme for ITV’s new campaign programme Extinct. Presented by ITN newsreader Steve Scott, the programme highlights the plight of 8 animals on the Red List – an internationally recognised list of animals, such as the Bengal Tiger and Mountain Gorilla, which are most at risk of dying out altogether.

In association with WWF, Extinct is a unique project that will attempt to save these threatened species from extinction.

The programme can be seen on ITV 1 on Tuesday 14th November at 7.30pm.

Richard Nicholls - Managing Director

Before launching Swift Films, Richard worked as a broadcast TV director and editor, working on programmes for the BBC, ITV and Sky.

A multi-skilled and technically-minded filmmaker, Richard is equally at home coming up with creative concepts as he is on location filming or pulling footage together in the edit suite.

Richard is a member of Independent Producers Scotland and has a love of cats, football, chocolate and Film Noir (in that order).
