Swift Films was founded on making broadcast documentaries.

Before setting up the company, Managing Director Richard Nicholls carved out a niche working on ‘blue light programmes’ such as the influential Bike Cops series.

As a result, one of Swift Films’ earliest commissions was the six part series Emergency: Firefighters for ITV and Sky.

The success of this series led on to us producing award-winning documentaries such as:

• End of the Road for Discovery
• Race Across America for ITV
• Graffiti: From Tags to Riches for Sky Arts and ITV
• Extinct for ITV
• I know what you watched this summer.

Richard Nicholls has also gone on to series produce the long-running Sky hit Nothing to Declare UK.
