Short documentaries for NatureScot about Peatland ACTION

For the last 12 months, we have been producing a series of short documentaries for NatureScot about the importance of peatland restoration to help tackle the climate and nature crises.
The short film above provides an insight into the challenges involved in producing these films in Scotland in winter. It’s not all glorious sunrises and amazing vistas!
Travelling all over Scotland, we have produced short films about peatland restoration sites at Ben Wyvis and Strathvaich in the Highlands, Duchal Moor on the West Coast and the Buccleuch Estate in the Scottish Borders.
About the Author
Richard Nicholls - Managing Director
Before launching Swift Films, Richard worked as a broadcast TV director and editor, working on programmes for the BBC, ITV and Sky.
A multi-skilled and technically-minded filmmaker, Richard is equally at home coming up with creative concepts as he is on location filming or pulling footage together in the edit suite.
Richard is a member of Independent Producers Scotland and has a love of cats, football, chocolate and Film Noir (in that order).
